Enfield guys you Know anything about John Inglis Hi-powers?

Mine is a No2Mk1* marked slide matching ser## barrel, slide, frame. 7T2100 Range . No FTR mark, but suncorite painted. Is it a Britishicon or New Zealandicon or Canadianicon issue? I don,t know by ser. number where they went and who used it. Thanks in advance

You need to buy a good little book called 'The Inglis Diamond' by Clive Law and published by Collector Grade in Canadaicon. I'm sure that it'll answer all of your questions

Thanks Peter ,my mother was a ww2 warbride from Hemel Hempstead, her maiden name was Emerton. Back in the 1970's my Uncle William shot my Longbranch No-4 and to my delight did the walking fast fire walking foward firing from the hip here in the States. He was on Dunkirk and later in life a Bobby and worked at Scotland yard. Worked in the subways or Tube and was nicknamed the Ferret. Uncle Lenard died on the HMS Illustrias in the Med.
