    I don't believe that is LBJ in the top photo. The hair is gray and he has no neck

    Well, just comparing the 1948 photo and the 1945 photo at the top leads me to think that is not LBJ. The ears on the fellow in the top photo are not near large enough to belong to LBJ.

    If you are in the Fredricksburg/Johnson City area, there is what looks to be an outstanding Museum of the Pacific War. The Johnson Ranch is now open and lies between the two towns. Well worth the time. We plan to go back with a day to cover the WIP museum.
