If it is an M1935 Short Rifle, Peterson's lists it at $175 Poor, $250 Fair, $450 Good, $600 Very Good and $750 Excellent. There is no listing for an 1898 Belgiumicon Short Rifle. The M1935 is a K98icon style clone.

Sounds like it needs a new home! Not easy to find, it is.
