I'm excited....
My 1942 Inglis Bren has arrived after its long trip, complete with bren transit chest and original paperwork going back to the early 1950's.
It's sitting in garage and needs to be unpacked and a detail photo montage done. I'll post the pics when I get that finished...
When I was a young trooper back in the early 60's, I trained on first the Sten SMG and Bren Gun, before they switched us over to the Sterling SMG and FNC2.
I loved the old Bren and most of the guys I trained with preferred it over the FNC2, hating to see it retired....
I guess I'll have lots of questions for you Bren experts here once I start pawing over it.
