    Was asked and don't know.
Do not know the serial number at this time.

    TIA,

    Charlie,

"War Baby" page 386 says it did. Only says early production, no serial number range.

    Jim,
Thx for doing the leg work for me.
Trying to answer to a friend, but worn out from working swing shifts.
"Can we move in before Christmas?"
I would have thought Type II. Seen Riesch said early / limited use of TI by QHMC, just wasn't sure.
I've E-mailed for the serial range. Now not sure if it will help.
I sure miss BQ and Newscotlander.......

    Thx Again Buddy,

Charlie, Looked thru some Carbine Club newsletters. Back in 1982 it was listed as " a possible", but a 2006 listing stated that none had ever been reported from all info submitted. John

    Charlie,

Here's one in the first 8000 range with an unmarked type 2 that I believe is original to the carbine. Before anyone ask, the round punch mark is correct for staking the rear early script QHMC flip sight. Best regards.
