    Early spike bayonet ID?

Hi all, I have a spike bayonet. The blade is 20", overall it is 23". Any idea what this is? More pictures here.

    Early spike bayonet ID?

What are the dimensions of the socket? OD and ID. It looks European, it's missing the lock ring.

This appears to be a Netherlands M1871 for use with the Beaumont rifle.
