    New stock for WASR 10/63

First photo is how I bought It.
Waiting fot a buttplate, still need to get a sling. I have a cleaning kit unsure of origin. I have a Romanian "guard" buttstock coming also that has the black stripe, I will probably install that when it comes in.

Bought a set for my WASR 10/63 from centerfire and I really like the look much better and the front grip is just cool.

    Extended mag probem

I agree, it has a good feel, cant wait to shoot it. I did just find out that you can not easily remove the 40rnd Bulgarian mags. I think this has to do with the front lip of the magazine being a little longer than the metal ones. The metal ones com out fine as long as you keep the mag catch lever depressed and pull straight down once it is at the "release angle". The problem with the 40rnd polymers is that the mag has to be swung out so much further to clear the front lip from the notch in the mag well, and the vertical grip is in the way. I may get brave and gently shave the lip down or just save the polys for a future AK.
