    Revision 11 follower

I was told that the follower in my Winchester Garandicon is SA not Winchester because it is marked with a serifed "11" and there is no known examples of an actual Winchester follower marked with a non-serifed "11" although the books say that Winchester used them. Is this correct?

WRA 11 followers are not seen very often. Can you post a close up side view of the follower for idenification purposes?

Pics I needed are in the first post, you either posted them after I did or somehow I missed them
Anyway, first off I am no expert. From what little I know that isnt a WRA . It has beveled cuts at the base so would be a SA
    Just my opinion

I agree with Orlando. WRA followers did not have the bevels. Here is A pic showing the difefrence.

The op rod catch is very crude compared to the SA that I have with it in these pictures. The Winchester catch still has pretty nice blueing on the accelerator and the punch mark on the leg. I noticed the pin that holds the accelerator in the catch has round ends on the Winchester and flat ends on the SA. Are they all like this? You can still see some remnants of the old yellow grease on it.

    early Winchester and Springfield

Early Winchester and Springfield operating rod catches had more noticeable differences.

Scott Duff's "The M1icon Garand: World War 11" has a Winchester data sheet on page 263 on Winchester rifle s/n 2481387 the follower is marked 11, you would need to find out if it is a Winchester or Springfield Attachment 39395Attachment 39396
