    Guys, I found this book at a reasonable price is it worth getting?

    Collectors guide to the Britishicon Enfield Rifleicon, VOL I. Covers SMLE MKI and MKIII. A definative work on this subject. By Charles Stratton

    they are good basic references with a few errors in them.

    A MUCH better choice is "The Lee Enfield Story" by Ian Skennertonicon.

    Claven2 gets my vote, The Lee Enfield Story is a far better scribe, HTH-SDH

    Certainly the Stratton book is worth getting.
    While the Lee-Enfield story by Skennertonicon is known as the "bible" the second edition is out of print and brings insane prices unless you are very lucky.
    The third edition of Skennertons book is due out next year in COLOUR. I doubt that it will be cheap, but if you are into Enfields, it is a must.
    I have the 1st and 2nd editions, but I will still buy the third.
