    I was not aware the grenade launchers for the M1icon were in the field that early. Still wearing his life belt , a bag of rifle grenades , and a Britishicon toggle rope.

    The 5th Ranger Btn, issued large numbers of M7 launchers with the GP bags prior to the D-day landings. I guy in my reenacting unit is in possesion of a photo of members of A co. 5th RIB, loading into landing craft, and almost every one has GP bags, and more than 1/2 of them have grenade launchers attched to there rifles.
