Canadian C7 & C8 Featured in American Rifleman

I just finished the article by CHRISTOPHER R. BARTOCCI in the March 2013 issue of American Rifleman titled M16icon's of the Great White North. Abbreviation of the subject matter aside, it gave me a Cliff's Notes version of the differences between the M-16 and the CT and C8 series rifles/carbines. Included was a short explanation of the SAS L119A1 version as well as the Light Support Weapon (LSW) version from Diemaco. Curious if this article gets a thumbs up or down from our Canadianicon members (and others of course).

I thought it was a good article. They do first class work at the plant in Kitchener. I've had the privilege of handling the trials as well as the production L119 SFW while in Englandicon a few years ago and have also met the man who designed it. It is a lovely piece of kit. I sure wish there was a way we could import some of the hammer forged barrels, parts and other accessories designed at Diemaco/Colt Canadaicon. All wishful thinking now unfortunately.
