    Jungle Carbine with a difference.

I was visiting a friend recently who had aquired this as part of a deceased estate he seemed to think that it was called a "Tanker Carbine". It appears to be unused with no proof marks (it is now with the proof house) and made from a pile of left overs, the question is was it made by RFI like this or has Frankenstein been at it again??? It felt very light and I for one would not look forward to shooting it.....

Gibbs made these a number of years ago(1980's?). I think Gibbs called them No.7 carbines.

Looks like a Gibbs. Nice looking rifle.

With a full buttstock like that, it might not be that bad.
