    London Small Arms Co Ltd on Facebook

    I have been researching the London Small Arms Co Ltd, which was about the 3rd biggest producer of SMLEs in WW1, but with a history going back to Snider conversions of the Pattern 1853 musket, through Martini-Henrys to the Lee rifles. The company went into liquidation in the 1930s.

    At the moment, the focus of the page is on the physical location of the Victoria Mills factory in Bow, East London, which was the focus of WW1 production and now seems to have been bulldozed to oblivion, and on the corporate history (as a lawyer that's my comfort zone!). There is a lot more research and detective work to do, so it should be a handy project to keep me busy for some time.

    It would be great if you would visit the site, Like it if you do appreciate it and/or add any information you may have about the company or an LSA rifle you own.

    Thanks

    I grew up in Old Ford Rd near to where the factory stood, that's what led to my rifle collection being influenced with items from LSA.

    There is some poor quality pictures in the LSA catalogue that Terence has on his site:

    No exposure or desire for Facebook either, but if there will be an external link I'd like to check it out. Good luck

    Quite agree with Bigduke6. Not to be rude but Facebook?

    I bought myself this T shirt in Camden Market last year; mine was in black for better contrast

    Look forward to seeing your material one day though.

    Saw a T shirt recently, says;

    "What do we want?"
    A cure for Tourette's!
    "When do we want it?"
    C**t!

    Man parks in disabled space. Commissionaire says, "here, you can't park there, you haven't got a sticker. What's your disability anyway?" Man: "Tourette's, now f--k off!"
