Didn't know they stamped wood especially for the No4 Mk1 T rifle!!

So I thought I had seen many things, but this one still took me by surprise. I don't normally post to a live auction as many here may be interested, but I think that most here won't be interested in this "special" offering.

    Enjoy,

    Brian B

Lee Enfield NO4T Sniper Woodset New Un issued Old Stock | eBay

lee enfield no4T woodset new un issued old stock. i put used condition butt has small storage dent

every part is stamped no4T which i presume is for the no4 sniper rifle

i found these two sets in a batch of 500 normal no4 wood sets they are stained to a really dark colour may be for camoflouge for sniper rifle.

    may be test samples

ideal for collector as they are or to put on rifle

auction is for one set but do have two

will post world wide email for cost

It gave me quite a giggle - can't imagine it's wilful trickery in the sense that it's so ludicrous a real faker wouldn't bother. I do like the "they are stained to a really dark colour may be for camoflouge for sniper rifle." also.

Marks are too deep to sand out and save the pieces. They are just fire wood now.

SARCASM SWITCH ON... Oh, how fortunate is the lucky boy --- "... one set, but do have two." SARCASM SWITCH OFF

I'm sure he does, and if his little trick works, he may just somehow, miraculously find more --- if he still has the bloody stamp set!
