here are my enfields...


top one is a replica 1853 enfield. works and shoots great...
middle one is a 1942 ??? no4 mk 1 has FTR on the handle. F334* all matching numbers shoots pretty good. do not have a clue where it was made.
lower is a pawn shop find. 1943 long branch no4 mk 1 32L9** SN shoots like a dream. great rifle...it was had the stock it has when i got it. i added the scope...

Nice and welcome to the most addictive line of military rifles. Lee Enfields are so varied and interesting and I always see some nice ones I would like south of the border.

Check out what Brian Dick of BDL has to offer, I see a couple I would like and only the pain of importing stops me. His prices are very good and here in Canada Lee Enfields are going up in value on a very regular basis.

thanks, yes very addictive. i collect enfields when they show up around here and really want a (T). i have started talking to brian at BDL to get a (t). i also am very heavy in too modern remington bolt guns for accuracy and distance shooting with bull barrels.

If that is a Long Branch MkI "button" cocking piece on your Long Branch you might want to strip the paint off and put it away; they're worth a pretty penny now.

it is...alot easier to cock and that rifle is a shooter, 400 yards is no problem for it.


i have been wanting to put the long branch back into all original condition.
