Hi folks, I acquired this P14 a few months ago. Despite a rough exterior, the bore is fantastic, so I dealt with its issues. Fun detail, the forend is number-matched with the barreled action. The bolt, unfortunately, isn't.
A chunk was missing from the forend, and the exposed portion of the barrel at the front was pretty severely rusted. So I repaired the missing wood chunk and had to cold blue the barrel tip. Definitely not a museum piece, but a P14 ready to have fun at the range.

Cold blue doesn't give a stellar result but it's a significant improvement over the rust-covered, pitted starting point.
