    smith corona 03-a3 already altered

hello all, i recieved a 03-a3 from my grandfather when he passed and the wooren stock past the sling hook has been removed; to the bolt on top and from the sling point to the barrel on bottom. is there a way to scope this weapon without drilling? i have no problem shooting iron sights and will not destroy this rifle to shoot a scope. also is there anywhere i can purchase an original stock to replace what was taken off? thanks.

Welcome to the forum. Pictures are nice!
You can put an S&K scope base on it, with out needing to drill it; search forums here for prior S&K posts.
Also folks like Sarco sell just the front end for your stock, they are stupid expensive, and a real pain to graft back to your stock.
Its much better to find a replacement stock, new or old (about the same cost) unless you get crazy for an exact match to what you have then it will cost you.
Stocks are for sale on flea-bay, here in the forums, Sarco and Numrich; and even at CMPicon; just be careful of new stocks, fit and finish vary. (I understand the CMP stuff is good).
    Good Luck
