Type 1 Garand Gas Lock Screw?

Is the below auction item a legitimate early M1icon part or else some funky later import piece?

M-1 Garand Type 1 Gas Cylinder Lock Screw

    TIA!

Don't know where they got that one. Looks home made. The early ones for the gas trap were completely different and the gas cylinder lock screws were not like this. The gas cylinder lock screw relief valves had a cross in them...right down below the ad is one of each of the real ones...
    Regards, Jim

I think this was just discussed on the CMPicon forum. I've seen several just like that around and do not believe them to be USGI.

Does that mean you've seen them before? Where?

Let's see...Winchester has the machine marks and the SA is the smooth one?

Agree with RCS--the lock screw offered in that auction is most definitely not original US issue for the M1icon--likely made on the other side of the Pacific ocean. But hey, that's just speculation on my part.
