Thanks for the link. From what I have heard in the family, my father's brother was with the 5307th. I don't know for sure as I only heard about this after he died a few years ago. I do know that he had malaria when he was int eh service and did receive his CIB.

The Movie with Jeff Chandler is one of my favorite. I like the guy with the Carbine "Shucks I missed him" ! Interesting to note is the 03 (A3) launching Grenades .
