    L42

In the November 2008 Guns and Ammo there is an article "The Ultimate Sniper", featuring the L42. The rifle featured is obviously based on a No. 4 Mk. I* receiver. The forend has the tie strap, so it is not a 1/3. Thought these were only made up on Mk. I rifles.

tiriag, (T) rifles, whether Mk.I or Mk.I* were converted to L42A1s. Nothing of Mk.2 configuration, including Mks. 1/2 and 1/3 were converted.
