    Winchester carbine info needed

A friend of mine bought a winchester carbine and was wondering what the value would be?

I collected carbines 25yrs ago but have since forgot, lost all the info I had on them. I know it's a mix/match Winchester.

    Here's some of the markings:

    Barrel--circle with pw in it
    stock--AAO--P---Q-RMC
    slide--.O.U
    Trig house--W
    hammer--b/r in circle
    Trigger--LT-Q
    Sear--XI
    bolt--flat--7S
    ft sight--N
    Receiver--121xxx

The Carbine receiver was stamped Sept 9 1943. Completed build would have been a bit after that.

It is a springtube but appears to be a rebuild with later and mixed parts. You have a Rock-Ola stock, Quality Hardware trigger, Standard Products bolt, Underwood slide, etc. Really not enough pictures. Stock markings, C or D clip sling, barrel band, stuff like that. You don't mention if it might have an import marking or not.

Winchesters get a little higher price then some of the other manufactures just because of name. And prices seem to vary in different areas of the country. Without holding it I would say it could range from $900 to $1200.
