    Dec 1941 Garand

    Receintly bought this Dec 41 Garandicon , unfortunatly not original but a Restoration rifle. For the price I couldnt pass it up. You gotta love these old War Horses

    CMPicon members are gonna give you hard time but fret not I'm not too far behind you.
    A lot of guys don't realize you are not going to pay less then $1000 for an M1icon outside the CMP.

    This isnt a CMP mixmaster, the rear sights alone are worth atleast $500
    If CMP had this rifle it would go to auction

    In the last month I sold two of my CMPicon Garands. Springfield 1100,Winchester 1200 both sold to a friend who had none(but had plenty of money). They are in good hands.
    My Dec 1941 Lend lease (445XXX) I paid 1300 a year or so ago, so you can see how well prices have gone for us.

    Even "a year or so ago" a correct Dec. 41 for $ 1300.00 was a steal. By the way, the rifle pictured in my Avatar is a Non L.L. Dec. 41.
