Another Project to put on my Britishicon Airborne Jeep is make a Dummy PIAT!

Tombear send me some interesting information but i need measuments!

Is there any blueprint or drawing with measures ?

Maybe I can draw some up with basic measures such as diameters and total body length and accessories.

Belgiumicon Manual Hét ABL-History Forum Toon onderwerp - Projector, Infantry, Anti Tank (PIAT), 1949

    Why two monopod style?

    Thanks in advance!

Later monopod. Ease of manufacture and I think that it folded back or forwards but yours as shown clearly doesn't fold. Notice that the little tray thing at the top right of the stripped-down picture is the loading tray for the inert smaller diameter training round

Luis, looks like 1/6 scale or close to it based on Ol of 6 3/8 in. to 39in. There isn't a museum here that would have one. I could measure the model with a digital metric caliper if that might be useful. More pictures.

Thank you very much for your time and shows upload photographs!
I think it will be a good way to find measures using these scale models!
I'll take my old drawing board and slide rule and to work!
    Regards!

The above photo is in OOsterbeek near Nijmegen Holland . My sister was born there and I was born in Nijmegen . I went to the Airborne Museum there a really neat experience. The last time I saw a PIAT Gun was back when I re-enacted. The Britishicon Airborne guys were trying to adapt it for our war games. I don't think they succeeded but it was neat thing to inspect . From what I heard it was a horror to cock and fire . The movie " A Bridge too Far " shows some neat footage of a Para firing one.
