New Winchester 52B and Remington 513T

Over the weekend I glommed two .22 rifles...

    A Winchester 52B

And a Remington 513T with a Fecker scope.

Only have the auction pics for now.

A poster on another forum suggested that the Winchester has a Canjar trigger. I heard this is a good thing (the Canjar).

Not sure if either is US Property marked.

I had a 52B for several years but sold it because the Winchester trigger had a most annoying vibration. Was a great rifle otherwise. Your Remington looks much nicer than mine. (which stays at a friend's house, just in case we need to have trigger time at the spur of the moment.)

    Thanks, JM

I've been reading about the Canjar trigger and it sounds like it was a solid replacement trigger for the stock 52B trigger.

Truth be told, I already have two 513T's and mainly wanted the Fecker scope. I got the 513T/Fecker combo for a great deal.

I finally picked up my rifles from the FFL and took some pics.

I also glommed a 52D. The 52B is not in as nice a shape as the D, but it ain't bad. Wood and metal are very good, with a few small spots of surface rust. Bluing on the receiver is not bright and glossy like the D.

Vaver sight seems to work perfectly. I've been told this is a Canjar trigger. It is very light, with no creep over overtravel

The bluing procedures certainly changed from the B to the D. Probably cheaper to do the high gloss. The trigger does seem to be a replacement unit. Looks like the trigger guard plate's been modded to accept the new unit. What's up with the little wire just forward of the trigger?

The wire loop is the bolt release.
