    1942 VKT Finn M39.

Picked this little gem up today. Its a 1942 VKT M39, wartime stock, and as an added bonus (to me anyway) its built on an 1898 Sestroryetsk receiver! Check her out!

i love my VKT M39. it's a 1941. i know most people want a Sako because they know the name, but VKT actually made fewer M39s.

Nice! I've got a 1942 VKT as well, made on what I think is a New Englandicon Westinghouse receiver. Haven't had much time to give it range time and I only bought a small amount of PPU brass-cased, non-corrosive ammo so I can't personally testify that it shoots the lights out, but I'm hopeful, too.

Thumbnail is the top-side of the receiver tang with M-arrow which I think indicates NE Westinghouse. The underside of the tang is clean and does not look scrubbed.
