Noticed one just sold for $2,800+ Taxes recently.

A DCRA rifle minus PH Sight.

There were 3 at Sadler's Auction this year. All went for approx $2700 + 15% Buyers Premium + 13% Tax. These were laminate stocked Enfields (one CNo7, one 303 LB and a 7.62 DCRA). Laminate stock sets were strictly a DCRA initiative from the 1960's. Approx 2000 sets produced. You see the random piece for sale. Ron

From my research, less than 150 sets were probably made. The highest # I seen was #126.
Most were sold off to the DCRA,late 1950's early 1960,s.Got this info from an elderly gentleman who bought several sets.I heard from another source that 50 sets went to the USAicon in the early 70's.
I have been collecting for 30 years,I seen less than a dozen in that time.
    I have 4 examples.
    A wide horizontal,about 1/2 inch laminates
    A wide vertical,about 3/8 inch laminates
    and 2 thin vertical laminates,one 1/16 and one 3/16
They are all Canadianicon arsenal marked.Small A inside a C

It seems the lower #,s were thick laninates.#14,19,24,25
Higher #,s were thin vertical #106,108,125,126

Thanks for all the comment. The reason I ask because I just pay 2800+tax from collector source. Just want to make sure does worth what I pay for.
