Have more but think this is one of 803 new rifles that year since the barrel date and the serial # match up.

It also has the PJ O'Hare sight cover (rear) and GI front cover with the Micronmeter not US marked.

I know what you mean - when you run into something like that, you don't know whether to hope he sells or hope he doesn't!!

I can't quite get the intestinal fortitude to take this out for a "spin", though.
