Looking for No 32 Mk 1 scope 1766

I recently purchased Savage 4t rifle 0C1862 and am looking for information regarding scope number 1766. I have posted this on Angel's page. The rifle came with another early Mk1 scope mounted, serialed in the mid 4000 serial range. I'm wondering is perhaps anyone has a record fo 1766 still being in existence?

    TIA

    David

Here's my comments for a couple of its close relatives. Don't help you but nice to know if you now own 1774...........
