    parts search

Found my way over, almost didn't until someone pointed out to me the old site is going bye bye. Sad cause I liked the plain jane look of it. Anyhow I had posted a parts search need.

I need to find a barrel band retaining spring for a smith corona 03a3 i picked up today. Anyone know of one or have a spare? Also the buttplate on this one is checked . . . any info on that? The previous 03's I have had were all smooth is this normal for an 03a3?

Dont know if I'm correct but I have a buttplate that I was told was a SC due to the large checkering.

    Hello Rick,
I have a S/C retainer spring, it's unmarked and it's new. Your S/C buttplate should have large square's and not the smaller square's of the 03A3 Rem. B/P. I have a correct B/P if you need one for your S/C rifle stock
    Thanks
    Bob
