    4T transit chest restoration information

I contacted the ebay seller staffscolonel and he is able to produce 1 inch stencils for the 4T transit chest and will direct him to his website so those who need the stencils for restoration projects can obtain them from him. His cost is 10 GBP plus shipping.

See your last thread re the font if he is using an old Army stenciling machine. NOT the same as the chest. Maybe Skippy could show us the font from the QM's issue machine. I would but me, computers and photographs ain't words that sit easily together. A bit like Officer, map and compass!

  3. Thank You to Peter Laidler For This Useful Post:

Thanks Peter As a general question, what are the appropriate colors for the 4T chest? I've seen what looks like OD green with white letters, and khaki/tan with black letters.

Also, Brian Dickicon has nice leather replacement handles for $30 per set, plus shipping.
