Not those either -- look at the guy right in the center foreground, he has one under his left arm. Two guys 4 and 5 back from him also have them. The guy in the back row who is looking right at the camera also has one slung on his back.

Now I see...they DO look like the thermal rest sleeping pads we now issue in Canada...
