    No4 Mk1 stamped "308" ROF

Have an opportunity to purchase an ROF No4 Mk1 stamped 308 not 7.62. Barrel has bayonet lugs and full wood. The person selling was less then helpful with the stamps and numbers. Would only give me the first 3 serial numbers after coaxing. #KA2XXXX.
He also will not send any pictures until next week.I know pics are everything, but!!!!
Before I make the trip. Can anyone shed some light as to what it could be?

    Thank-you
    Jerry

I would suggest that if it's stamped .308 it's not of military origin and could have been assembled by circus carnies...it may be less than stellar...

Enough said,,,, That, and with the less than "stellar" sales tactics I will leave it alone. Just had to be sure that I was not passing up on something that might have been a deal at $700 CAD.

    Thank-you Jim
