    Winchester Field Grade

We have a snow day here in NY and I was happy to have the day off as my Winchester Field Grade has been sitting in Danbury, Ct waiting to be delivered this morning at 10:30. I hope Fedex has a similar motto as the USPS. You know, the whole rain, snow, sleet thing. I'm crossing my fingers, otherwise I may just have to take a road trip. Danbury is about 20 minutes from here. I'm heading out now to snow blow my 400 foot long driveway just in case so there won't be any excuses. Wish me luck. Nice Forum BTW. Sad to see the old one go. Semper Fi, Tim

Fedex finally showed up this afternoon at 5:30 PM. He walked it up my driveway. Needless to say I tipped him well for his effort. The rifle appears to be a Danishicon return as it has a stock disk cut out with serial numbers on stock and one of those papers inside the channel written in Danish. The stock appears to be a winchester, and it has an SA 12/52 Barell. Both handguards are beech. There is no rust or pitting and it has a nice finish. I am very pleased. I'll post some pictures soon.
