It's worth bearing in mind the term ".303" traditionally refers to the Short Magazine Lee-Enfield (SMLE) Mk III or Mk III* rifles, so if you say you're looking for a"Full Wood .303" most of us are going to assume you're looking for an unsporterised SMLE. Having said that, the Pattern 1914s are nice rifles and from the same era (WWI) as the SMLE, so they have quite a story of their own to tell too.

As browningautorifleicon observes, there's heaps of information on the Pattern 1914 here, otherwise the Wikipedia page on the Pattern 1914 Enfield would be an excellent place to start as an overview.

"The US Enfield" by Ian Skennertonicon is still the definitive work. Lots of info there that is not online anywhere.
“There are invisible rulers who control the destinies of millions. It is not generally realized to what extent the words and actions of our most influential public men are dictated by shrewd persons operating behind the scenes.”

    Edward Bernays, 1928

Much changes, much remains the same.
