In the Dutch East Indies an US Marine orders a Japanese sniper, concealed inside a rotten log, to surrender or be shot in April 1944

Fortunate for the sniper the flame thrower crew was not handy.

Yes probably so with the flame or a phosphorus pineapple grenade but the hide shows definite lack of an escape route for a shoot and scoot still by that stage the quality of the enemy had diminished some what no doubt, still to die for the emperor was the big deal. For the Allies it was simple our troops gave so the world could for a while live in relative peace.

But like all free spirits on this site/planet whom read & hear the news we know the restlessness will never end no sir not until the sword of freedom pierces every black heart that is out there will we as free peoples know peace
