    Question on Japanese Sword

I have a couple of pictures of a Japaneseicon Sword that my brother owns from WWII. We have removed the grip and have photographed what appears to be hand-etched (no machine stamped) symbols in the tang. We are thinking that this sword may have someone’s family blade in it not a standard military issued standard blade. Does anyone in this forum have knowledge of Japanese charterers that might be able to offer some opinions or possibly point us to a forum that might be better suited to provide feedback?

I'm attaching a link to some photos, thanks for any advice.

And of course you'll come back with a direct cut and paste of what you've learned? Love to see a few angles on the blade and such to see the Hamon clearly...looks very interesting.

I dont know the first thing about swords but a good friend does, I asked him regarding the Kanji, the last two read, masa nori then saku, which means masa nori made this. The other two are his family name, am waiting for this but it also means he worked in Seki Arsenal during the war.
