Well yes it does not have all SA parts properly dated and has been refurbished along its journey but I am happy none the less.

The born on date puts it in June of 1942.

The barrel is dated 6-43.

Here is the cartouche on the stock ....

Very nice markings, and these are a bit harder to find here in Canada. Maybe you'd consider a pic expose' for the rest?

Took it apart, lubed and forgot to take pictures of the drawing #s. The follower is a #12 (no surprise), but the parts are SA marked so I am happy.

Trigger Housing D28290-05SA
Op rod D35382-9SA


The barrel is dated June of 1943 and is as bright as can be.

Note: Stock is numbered to receiver (Danish Rifle Standard)

Will do, probably over the weekend. The markings are the reason I picked this one up.

I need to fully disassemble and it needs to be lubricated.

I am certain there will be a couple of Breda parts in there.

It is interesting how these were maintained by the Danes.

My other M1 is a properly dated SA, except for the VAR Barrel and replacement stock.

Yes, the Danish re-builds are prominent here in Canada. I do have a LL with all the correct parts...but then I corralled it back in '76...

Very nice. I have one on order and hope it looks just like yours. Used but not as a boat paddle or tent stake driver.
