does anyone know what this stamp means? It looks like a pine tree in a circle.

With what appears to be Arabic markings on the receiver, it could be a Cedar tree, the symbol of Lebanon.

@Tom in N.J.: The markings you see on the receiver aren't Arabic, it is what's left of the the original British proof markings, they seem to have been scrubbed off. There are Arab markings on the unit marking disk on the right side of the stock. My first tought also was Lebanon, but I am not sure.

If it is an acceptance mark of Lebanon, does somebody know in what period it was used and if it is used on other types of firearms of the Lebanese armed forces?
