Any Members in Arizona / Nevada?

Hello, I'm looking for some help with a trip to the 'Big Sandy' machine gun shoot that I'm making with 3 friends in Oct. We're flying in to Las Vegas on the 21st Oct and out again on the 2nd Nov. All of us have been to the Grand Canyon before so at the moment we are thinking of a quick visit to Phoenix and Tucson for the aircraft museums then back up to the Flagstaff area, avoiding the high prices at weekends for a few days. After that I'd like to get a quick trip in to Death Vallet before we have to leave.

What I'm looking for are a few good tips on restaurants and bars in:-
Kingman AZ
Flagstaff AZ
Phoenix and Tucson and more importantly anywhere we can go shooting in Phoenix / Tucson. I know there are ranges in Las Vegas but they are all into 'Packages' and are pretty expensive. If anyone knows of a range that is outdoors and not too expensive I'd appreciate details.

While growing up in Yuma , I was spoiled by the Adair Range here . When I went to U of A in Tucson in the late '70s I was very disappointed about what the big city offered . Might have changed by now , but I haven't heard . Phoenix has the Ben Avery range which is very large and nice . There were also a few indoor ranges there back in the '70s and 80s , may still have some .
We have Adair here and one indoor range , but I don't use them much . I just go to Paton's 500 yd range out in the desert next to the mountains these last few decades . More freedom / less hassel .

There are 3 main ranges in the tucson area that I'm aware of. SE of tucson near the fairgrounds is a county range with up to 200yd shooting. West of tucson there is the Tucson Mountain range. It's been years since I've been there and I've heard that it has been improved. It had up to 100yd shooting. The bigest is farther west near the Three Points and the reservation. It has ranges up to 500 yds with silohettes. I can't remember the name.

That's what I ment . Little 'ol Yuma has a trap and skeet , 300+ yard black powder pistol / rifle , full 500 meter pistol / rifle silohette , 1000 yd. high power rifle , 50 yd. Bull's eye pistol match , 100 yd + .22 rifle and catch all , a couple of " empty " ranges for you to set up your own combat courses , and a full police PPC 50 yd pistol range . Most have covered positions , some benches , etc. as needed for that type of shooting . I haven't been there in a long time , so I figure it's much improved now . Tucson was quite a shock to me.
