Been a while since I bought a firearm of any kind

Went on a search for an in stock Springfield Armory Range Officer in 45acp and found one about a one hour drive away.
When I got there not only did I get the Range Officer (a very nice pistol by the way) but I also found this.

It's built by Remington in as far as I can find late 1943. That date would make the scant stock suspect wouldn't it?
I've been searching off and on for one of these that wasn't way out of reach price wise for quite some time and had frankly given up. I was very surprised when I saw this one for what looked like a very decent price compared to what I have been seeing them go for lately.
I'll post more details and more and better pictures this weekend. My youngest Daughter is getting married tomorrow so I'm going to be busy .

    Not sure what you mean...

Maybe something to do with original pics you put in tour post that we've imported and stored, versus you editing your post later and putting in new ones?

Can you be clearer on what you mean by "picture changing"?

    Thanks..

    Regards,
    Doug

Why are my images from Photobucket, ImageShack etc. copied to milsurps.com?

I think I got it sorted The top picture would be the 1903 when I posted it but later it would change to my No.4 Lee-Enfield presumably when the web site copied them..
I put the 1903 pictures into a different folder in Photobucket and it seems to be working.
