Looking to buy a nice Czech VZ24

    Hello Milsurper Friends,

I am seeking a nice Czechicon VZ24 to add to my collection. So far, I am seeing prices around $250-$300 for avg, unmatched rifles; About $350+ for the good looking scrubbed Romanian rebuilds and have seen $850-$895 for All matching, 1937-1938 crested "P" series rifles with excellent bores (no counter boring). What is a fair price for one of these? Of course, I'd like the nicest, most matching rifle I can find. May have a chance to go to the Tulsa show....at least there I can deal a little. At $895, I could just about buy a good M1903 or a Garandicon. WHat are your thoughts, please. Thank you.

53 views and not even a single opinion as to a fair price for a decent Czechicon VZ24? 50%+ blue? 3 line crest? or Lion Crest? or 1937-1940 Crest? Am not too interested in scrubs. Thanks.

    VZ-24 price?

The prices you listed seem about right to me. Most mix-masters go for $300-$400 around here, with really nice specimens going $400 + depending on wood, blue etc... the highest I've seen is $550 and that one was pristine !! Good Luck on your quest! The VZ-24 is a highly sought after action in my parts as are 1909's. Personally I'm on the lookout for a 1912 Steyr built 98 action only, as I'm going to start a 9.3 x 62 mauser build. Pics are definitely required should you procure one.
