    Question Identification help requested

    Hi All!

I was at a flea market this morning and purchased some military items in a lot. Included in the lot were these leather suspenders which he "thought" were Germanicon.

They are made primarily from leather, the front being black in color with the opposite side being brown. The only markings I have found on them are difficult to read. I have attached a close-up of the markings.

I know that it is a bit of a needle in the haystack, but I thought that if I had any chance of identifying these, this group would be my best shot.

Thanks in advance for your help!

    Cheers!

I agree... Several countries continued using WWII Germanicon designs through the 50's after WWII was over because they had the patterns for production during the war. Most every WWII era German gun or any equipment related is stamped with a Waffenamt (WaA) or a swastika etc....
