I'm not so knowledgeable on these, but i quite like it. My new-to-me Canadian Long Branch No4 Mk1* made in 1943. Here's what i do know: Forestock is walnut and the buttstock is beech, stained to match the walnut fore end. It has absolutely NO import mark of any kind on it. 2 groove bore is in excellent condition. It has a no.1 bolt head. Serial numbers match on the wrist, bolt & magazine. It has a Mk.1 rear sight made by Ishapore (RFI stamps along with RC403 & RC318 on the sight). I assume this is a post war refurbished rifle. Can anyone tell me what the other marks in the pics mean?
