    Type 1 I-shape Oiler Cutout

I bought a Type 1 I-Cut Oiler Stock. Is there anyone knows the different between a fake or forged I -cut. I was reading in U.S. M1icon Carbines, Wartime Production and it talks sbout it on pg 107. I was just wanting to know if this was accurate enough to be assured its not a fake to raise the value of the Stock, Thanks

Pictures would help a ton in this case. Also, there are differences in measurements between the I-cut and oval cut slots. I would start with a ruler and at least see what's the deal there. If it's a fake, the pictures most likely will reveal it.
