    a couple of years ago purchased a mk2 and put in the "black hole" and forgot about it
    mk2-dated 12/53-pristine condition,like new-serial number pf 313581-barrel lightly stamped st albans vt--what type bayonet is correct.

    Either a No.4 spike or No.9 blade bayonet would be correct but these later rifles seem to be most often encountered with the blade.
