    Fn 49

    Hi newbie to your site member to many others w/same username.I am looking to buy a couple of 20 rd magazines for and FN 49 Venezuala converted to 308 caliber for Argentineicon navy.Any help in finding some or on how to convert similar mags would be greatly appreciated.

    I believe that the Argentine Navy "308"/7.62x51 Nato rifles were converted from the original Argentine 7.65x53mm, not the Venezualan 7x57mm.... I have owned both rifles......

    Correct. The holy grails in SAFN rifles is the Belgian Congo or an Argentine in 7,65x53. Never found either. Whoops... forgot the Indonesian. Gary
