    1942 Lee Enfield Savage

I have a Enfield Savage, 1942, which has a shortened fore stock. I would like to put the firearm back to original. I have found a No4 Mk1 Lee Enfield stock online. Would this fit my rifle?

    Thank you

It should be fine...the big issue is matching the wood...sounds like you'll be keeping your buttstock while aquiring a new forestock and front and rear upper hand guards.

Wood used could be walnut, birch or beechwood.

Springfield Sporters does allow one to select parts by wood type.

    LE No. 4 parts list:

Numrich has a complete stock set as well, as does Sarco:
