    Lee enfield no4 Dummy/replica/non firing

    Hi fellows!
I hope you are a good start this year and my best wishes for 2015.
    My question is easy.
I want to build a Lee Enfield no4 non firing replica.
Find parts that can be purchased on ebay, but would need to start this project get Demilled Receiver.
    Where I can get one?
Besides the Bren, this rifle to expose on my Britishicon Airborne Jeep Project!
    Thanks in advance!

    Suggest either get this
British WWII Lee-Enfield .303 SMLE New Made Display Rifle ima-usa.com
or ask your local gunsmith to deactivate a live rifle for you.
As far as I know, demilled receivers for the No4 or No1 (SMLE) rifles don't exist.

I think it will be easier and cheaper to buy a demilled No 4.

    Luis,
the problem here is the specification of "what constitutes deactivation". The rules in the UKicon and South Africa (two countries I know and love) are very different, and they have changed over time. I expect teh rules in the USAicon are different, and those in Argentinaicon are yet again different.
In my humble opinion, a rifle deactivated and certified locally (or a non-rifle which started life as a dummy) is less likely to get you into hot water, compared to a deactivated rifle imported from another country.
Just my 5c worth of advice.
