    Picked up a 1912 M95 Nagant

Picked up a 1912 Tula M95 Nagant. 100% arsenal refurbished condition, matching cylinder, line out side plate, very good bore. Full accessories, discreet import mark. Range report; 39 degrees and light rain, 30 feet, 28 rounds of code 38 1988 108gr surplus FMJ, 1 box at double action, one box single action. First shot was the 9:00 red splitter. Neat pistol.

Anyone interested in one of these, I can send the vender information. As seen, with 5 boxes of surplus ammo, $290. There are slightly better prices out there, but I got what I wanted.

Does anyone know how to tell if one of these was originally a single-action “Private's model” that was converted to double-action, or an original double action “Officer’s model”?

They swapped the hammer is all. For one to possibly be a candidate it would be pre 1919 with the refurb mark. Other than that...???

There's even a "Commander" version with short barrel and the frame and side plate machined differently.

A nice set. But have you tried shooting it in DA? Have you got very strong finger muscles?

First box was 2x; that's why the second box was 1x
