Doesn't look lke part of the sight to me, more like something on his back sticking up.

Would or could it be a spigot from a RG probably not looking at it again as it looks way over 30 cal diam!
Just another obs his cartridge pouches look rather thin for carrying en-bloc's rather strippers on appearances
