    More though, the top of the helmet has a rivet or some such. This troop is US? It's an early rifle...

    Would or could it be a spigot from a RG probably not looking at it again as it looks way over 30 cal diam!
    Just another obs his cartridge pouches look rather thin for carrying en-bloc's rather strippers on appearances
